Since I liked the cool looking graffiti styled art, I ended up getting a matching skin for my MacBook Pro 13" (GelaSkins Protective Skin for 13.3 and 14.1-Inch PC and Mac Laptops - Swinging DAIM).
The skin is very high quality and relatively easy to apply (I got it wrong a few times, but its easy to remove and reapply without damaging it) and it has a nice smooth feel to it. Once applied, it just won't come off by accident (not even on the edges).
It looks very stylish on a black iPod Classic and it is a nice way to personalize the device. I decided not to apply the part that is supposed to go top of the wheel though, since I suspected that it would interfere with the touch feature.
Bottom line: it is a stylish way to protect your iPod classic against minor day-to-day scratches, but it is not a shock proof sleeve or anything like that.
