This case is made of a soft plastic, that comes in the color (shade) of your choice. The case offers full access to all of the ports on the ipod; as advertised. This case is extremely thin (.4mm advertised), and is virtually weightless. This will definitely prevent any damage to the ipod caused by dust or particles (you just need to make sure you clean the case and ipod every so oftem; easy!).

Using the click wheel gets a little difficult as noted by another reviewer, and it is a bit difficult to remove the ipod from the case.
If you have an ihome or anything that you are looking to dock your ipod to, this case allows that. The only thing you do need is to change out the docking plate with a slightly larger one (usually already included with ihome product).

I would recommend the product for someone who is looking to protect the ipod from minor scratches and such. If you are looking for a rugged case that you will be able to toss your ipod around in, this is not the case for you. For the majority of ipod users this case will do the trick! (the low cost of the case helps too)
