It slides in and out of your pocket with easy, it protects the shiny back to the iTouch and doesn't cover up the fancy look of the product. I dropped my 2nd gen iTouch about 4 feet onto concrete and the plastic cover snapped off on impact but fully protected the iTouch which was incredible. It does show some scratches after weeks of wear and tear but not enough to make me never get another one.
